Thai Government Hosts FIFA President with "Madam Pang" Welcoming Global Football Leaders

On May 15, 2024, at 6:30 PM, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin hosted a dinner at Government House to welcome FIFA President Gianni Infantino. Also in attendance was "Madam Pang" Nualphan Lamsam, President of the Football Association of Thailand, along with global football leaders. They were in Thailand for the 74th FIFA Congress set to take place at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on May 17, 2024.

The event featured a warm and friendly atmosphere with attendees from the Thai government, FIFA representatives, member nations, the Sports Authority of Thailand, and the Football Association of Thailand. Guests enjoyed cultural performances, including traditional Thai dance, choir singing, puppet shows, and a Thai orchestra.

Prime Minister Srettha presented Infantino with a "Hanuman mask" and a "garland loincloth," while Infantino gifted the Prime Minister a jersey with the number 30, marking him as Thailand's 30th Prime Minister.
